As a Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the workers’ compensation claims process. Your role will involve handling claims from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and working closely with insurance carriers, legal teams, and internal departments.

M-F in office position

Salary: $55 - $65k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee workers’ compensation claims, including investigation, evaluation, and resolution. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of claims, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters, medical professionals, and legal counsel to facilitate claim resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce claims frequency and severity.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on workers’ compensation matters.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers’ compensation claims management, with a proven track record of successful claim handling.
  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
