Job Details

Review SALT income/franchise tax returns and related filings for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
Perform SALT planning activities such as tax liability projections and modeling of filing position alternatives.
Lead SALT projects involving nexus determinations, taxability analyses, identifying and quantifying state modifications, and determining proper state apportionment.
Draft responses to taxing jurisdiction inquiries and assessments. Assist with state income/franchise tax audits.
Collaborate with team members and mentor/train staff members and interns.
Maintain active communications with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

CPA or JD; MST or LLM preferred.
7+ years of experience in public accounting, emphasizing income/franchise tax.
An ability to independently manage client engagements and special projects.
Exemplary leadership skills.
