Job Title : Game Night Camera Operator (Part-Time)

Date : Early September 2024 through end of 2024-2025 season (as late as April 2025)

Reports to :Broadcast Producer

This role will be responsible for operating a camera used for our NAHLTv broadcast and video board for pre-game and in-game coverage including crowd footage and in-game contests.

This paid position needs to be prepared to work a majority of the 28 Colorado Grit home games during the 2024-25 season. Our games occur on Friday and Saturday nights at the Greeley Ice Haus in Greeley, CO.

Responsibilities:

• During the action follow the gameplay and provide dynamic coverage of Grit hockey
• Capture footage for in-game features, promotions, and entertainment elements as directed by the production team
• Capturing close-ups of players, coaches, and other key figures during the game.
• Ability to be on feet for 3+ hours at a time
• A good understanding of hockey and the ability to anticipate key moments during a game
• Effective communication with the production team, directors, and other camera operators

The Team:

The Colorado Grit are in their second season as members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), playing in the South Division at the Greeley Ice Haus in Greeley, CO. We look to build off our inaugural season that saw multiple players ink NCAA commitments at the Division 1 and 3 levels as well as a Grit alum sign a professional contract overseas.
