General Summary: Assures that the facility is clean and that vehicles are parked properly by patrolling and confirming payment of each vehicle on a regular basis. Performs a combination of routine general housekeeping and patrol duties.
Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $18.50-$20.00/hour.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Inspect the parking lot at the beginning of each shift for cleanliness and maintenance items. Report any needs to the Parking Supervisor.
- Patrol each level of the lot on a continual basis to ensure that revenue is collected on each vehicle. Provide enforcement when necessary.
- Present yourself as an ambassador of the Colorado Convention Center. Provide information to routine inquiries; assist the public with vehicle issues to the extent possible.
- Maintain parking equipment in clean and work-ready condition, set-up and remove traffic control items as necessary.

Education and Experience: - High School diploma or GED, preferred
Skills and Abilities: - Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills

- Provide customer service in a professional considerate manner

Position requires frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling. Heavy lifting up to 50lbs; may include manual labor. Use of tools and equipment operation that could cause personal harm or injury, if improperly handled. May be subject to adverse working conditions including, weather, fumes, noise, dust, etc. Radio usage of a two-way hand held. May require the use of an electric cart. Irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required determined by event schedule and/or department need
