This position is responsible for providing general grounds and landscape maintenance for the residents of the On Top of the World Communities.
Responsibilities: - Effectively operates all two-cycle equipment pertaining to the mow crew without damage to resident property and following all procedures
- Effectively operates mid-mount and front-mount mowers without damage to resident property while following proper turning change patterns without spinning wheels and at proper speed, leaving no ruts, and maintaining proper mowing height with a good result
- Maintains all equipment in proper working order, including daily preventative maintenance checks, cleaning and refueling
- Mows lawns and common areas
- Trims shrubs, trees, and bushes according to instructions
- Edges walks, paths, and driveways
- Identifies plant disease indicators
- Removes trash and debris
- May be required to drive dump trucks or other heavy equipment as needed
Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous grounds and equipment experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge: - Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Ability to read, understand and apply chemical label and restrictions

Schedule :
- Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Occasional Saturdays required. Schedule subject to change.)
