We are currently seeking an ambitious, results-driven Permanent Sales Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work within the dynamic flavor industry, covering the Latin America (LATAM) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales of our high-quality ingredients, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory, reaching or exceeding annual sales targets.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a flavor or ingredient sales role, with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Experience in the food industry, specifically working with flavors or ingredients, is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the LATAM market and experience in managing relationships in this region.
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and spoken, as this will be the main language used in this role.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM software.
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
