Headquartered near the borders of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, Lindy Paving is widely recognized as one of the largest and most successful asphalt paving contractors and manufacturers in the tri-state area. We are seeking construction Operating Engineers for our asphalt paving construction projects.

Because we are signatory with the construction labor unions, we utilize the unions as our first sources of labor for project needs. Primary Function:

Serve as the liaison between project engineers, subcontractors, customers, and the Accounting department regarding all job cost matters.

Typical Duties:

1. Track labor, equipment, trucking and material cost based on foremans' timesheets
2. Contact vendors and suppliers to get up-to-date pricing on materials ordered by field personnel
3. Create weekly invoices for all work performed along with all required documentation
4. Work with project engineers to ensure that all work is billed accurately and completely
5. Set up new contracts with subcontractors
6. Update job cost reports weekly with quantity changes
7. Create subcontractor estimates for payment to subcontractors
8. Review and approve invoices for payment to vendors and suppliers
9. Track rental equipment on projects

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

Entry level position. Educational and experience requirements include 4 year degree in Accounting or equivalent. Above average computer skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. The ability to assume responsibility and interface and communicate with others is essential.
